Everything is so strange

by Lucy Loves Not   Apr 4, 2006

It's not sleep anymore,
it is just a chance to wake up in a strange place;
half expecting you to be hogging all the covers.

it's not calm,
but i drown out all the noise with track 10 again and again.
your cd helps me forget i'm waiting for the furnace to kick on.

i keep thinking about all the wrong things that feel real,
and how i wish i could love without it raining in your head.

but my stupid wishes were never enough;
i just neglected some extensive need for something softer...

i guess i never really knew how to treat your silence.
