Be your imperfect self

Don't have really shiny hair
Or those bright blue eyes
I'm not a clone of Barbie
I've got my own style

My shape isn't perfect
For a cover of a magazine
Those girls are 'too' perfect
If you get what I mean

I haven't got petite anything
Not bum, thighs or breasts
Infact I'd be in trouble if I needed resusitation
As you wouldn't be able to get to my chest!

I'm not the smartest person either
I'm crazy at times but I'm just being me
and once you accept who you are
you'll be so much more happy

you see, my smile isn't dazzling
But I smile anyway
I don't mind not being perfect
I'd chose imperfect any day!

Because that's what makes us special
Not perfect bodys or hair
Look inside yourself
Whats important is whats in there

Whether your big or small
Plain or strange
Be yourself
And never change

Because no one's perfect
You have to believe me
Unless of course
They've gone through surgery!

But instead of trying
To be everyone else
Be the best you can be
And be yourself
