Then and now

When you were here, that week or two
i was happy, not one time blue
when you had left, already gone
i thought our friendship there was done
now you\'re back, we\'re starting over again
a year and a half, we\'re more than just friends
you\'ve had me since the first hello
but now i\'m scared of letting go
so suddenly you\'ve become someone special to me
honestly i thought we would never be
but deep down inside, i knew i was wrong
i\'ve been wanting you to ask me for so long
now i\'m yours, and i\'m so glad
the only thing i\'m afraid of is being sad
getting hurt is my main fear
i\'ve gone through too much shit this past year
but the past is the past, no need to go back
just know that a lot of people like to talk smack
now it\'s the end of this little written thing
but i hope to see what our future will bring
