Pointless Suicide

by Strange Angel   Apr 6, 2006

My mind fills with bloody lies
Projected onto blank, unfulfilled lines
Stain them slowly.

White page burns to black
As life slowly stutters.
They say it's the illness within;
Feeding on happiness
Pulling you down,
But without the constant distraction
Of laughter and smiles and friends
You feel inside you're crying
The hot crimson tears strike again.

And now,
As the sun is a bloody mess on the hillside,
The velvet call of night the only sanctuary
You leave the house just to not be alone
The phone ringing again, and again.

Breathless tone you suffocate
And falling, shatter upon the cliff.
Tumble into pointless suicide.

Wow this is amazing but so very sad at the same time... I really hope that this isnt true and you aren't considering it because the poetry world would be much darker without you. I liked how you described certain things though because I think that everyone feel like that from time to time.. Take care, stay strong, and keep writing.. And thank you very much for the comment on my poem.. it meant a lot
