Sunrise

by erotema   Apr 6, 2006

In my young age, i have only begun the search.
through diligent introspection, i have learned much and nothing.
i am one part a noble noun, made true with potential.
seeking a mirage, the shadow in Light.

so follow. one, alone, may never make the journey,
but many can fill full the task at hand.
for i, made less in sound and silence, have fallen short, yet
i may still yet lend a hand to those who pass me by.

might someone offer a hand to me? i know.
i know ive fallen short, but mine eyes long for the eventide,
and my lips miss the briny breeze.
for that which we lack, we yearn.
for that which we have known, we remember

I think what stood out the mess was that last line. Very inspirational, indeed.
