Autumn Woe

by S R P   Apr 8, 2006

Oh by the autumn woe
the leaves singing sweetly
as I watch the summer go

Thoughts of you bringing me back
spending time with you
the summer goes only too fast

In your arms I find my everything
in your eyes I see my path
I only wish to bring
the summer back

The falling leaves trace the trail
all but forgotten
the love that will never fail.

In your eyes I am born
again and again
the path forever worn
until I find myself
in your arms
on the sweet morrow
I bid my heart goodbye
for I feel no sorrow.

Green eyes
full of mystery
symbolizing everything
that will ever be.

Hair of flames,
a heart so wild
there is no shame
I find myself beguiled.

Wondrous emotions
creeping near
taking me to serenity
taking away all fear.
