Providence

by Jaya   Apr 8, 2006

Why do I have to re-visit this place?
Like a crime scene, it's something I don't want to face.

I thought I'd decided what it was to be,
What you see, you don't see what it's doing to me.

I can't come back here you must understand,
It's blatant that fate has dealt me the wrong hand.

In all my attempts I do try to succeed,
With all of this life I am left with no lead.

Thrown in the water right at the deep end,
Alone, on myself now I have to depend.

I'll make bad decisions, I'll do things wrong,
But God willing, I'll have reason, stand tall and stay strong.
