A new day

by master of shadow   Apr 8, 2006

It's a new day,
It's a new start,
The sun creeps over the horizon,
And the world is silent.
No one could know
Know what the day would bring.
The same terror as days before
Pain and suffering,
All at the hands of him.
Why did every day start the same?
Begin with a sliver of hope,
A ray of light in the morn.
Hope that today would be different,
That the past would not repeat.
And why was this hope never true?
Hope that today life would be good,
That the anger would not show.
Be told you're useless
Told to leave, just to go.
But it was always the same
With every new day
Every passing dawn

Very good. the only thing that gets me mixed up a bit is this line:

"That the anger would not show.
    By told you're useless
Told to leave, just to go"

The "by" kinda makes it...idunno. anyhow i think it just thorws me off but other than that....5/5 Great work!

Again really well done, and very true. The only problem I have it that this bit

"That the anger would not show.
    By told you're useless
Told to leave, just to go"

doen't make much sence, I think the "by" throws me off a bit. But it could be just me.
