Love

by Shannon   Apr 9, 2006

He bent down and kissed her lips
As a drop fell from his eye
Holding back a million tears
For he knew this was the last goodbye
He admitted to all his wrongs
And appoligized
Asking her for some way
They could compromise
He wondered why he asked
He knew the answer right away
But he caressed her hand
And went on to say
Just how much she meant to him
The joy she did bring
Then he made an action
Removing her diamond ring
He held it in his hand
As tightly as he could
She wanted him to remember her
And he promised that he would
He closed his eyes and said "I love you"
She was no longer exsposed
And as he walked away
Her casket was closed
