No Longer an Artist [Cutting]

by Shannon   Aug 26, 2006

People change their dreams
They change their lives
Put the blades away
And put up the knives
A part of her life
Was once this fancy art
But she's moved on
She's got a brand new start
The tools have been put up
No longer a sinner
No more spilled red paint
It's been cleaned up with thinner
This old life of hers
Wont be missed
Her dreams have changed
She's no longer an artist

I like how you used art as a way to portray self harm. It's a creative way to think of it. Btw whoever the artist is pat them on the back it's a hard thing to stop.
