Biologically Yours

by Shannon   Feb 16, 2007

Her 17th birthday had just passed,
And she had a choice to make,
Resulting in moving away from her dad,
Causing her heart to break.
She dreamed of being his angel,
Wanting to be "daddy's little girl"
But she always upset him a lot
Putting a damper on their world.

She made her share of mistakes,
Her dad, he made some too
She knew he loved her with all of his heart
But see, he doubter her too.
Was she really his daughter?
He questioned this thought
Was he the biological father?
This question had been brought.

This all bothered the girl
More than he'd ever know
And her heart began breaking
A long, long time ago

This girl isn't just anyone,
This young girl is me,
Dad I love you so much,
Daddy why can't you see
That no matter where I live
Through the arguing wars
And no matter what some stupid test says,
I'm still biologically yours.
