My Apology

The angry screams echo in my ear,
As the night's silence envelops me.
I love you, I really do.
But some days, it's just so hard.

These days, my heart still fights;
Wanting to be with you,
Yet still questioning this relationship.

The magic seems to be slowly fading.
The romance slips through my fingers,
Failing to graps it, failing on you.

Coming into this, you knew my insecurity.
You knew how long I hesitated;
I feared the love I felt for you,
Because no one had ever made me feel this way.

Still to this day, I fear our love.
The magic is slowly slipping,
I'm slowly losing grip of what we had
And never have I been more afraid.

I can't explain what's been happening,
But I'm not willing to let this go.
I apologize for what I've been putting you through,
But I promise I'll try harder.
