Dealt A Bad Hand

by Sean Dohr   Apr 10, 2006

In life, sometimes, you'll be dealt a bad hand.
It isn't your fault, you must understand.
It's the choice of your parents, to make dumb mistakes.
To drink and do drugs is a lame choice they'll make.

Take it from me, I don't live with my mom.
She drugged herself stupid, and now she's a bum.
I lived with my dad, but then he went nuts.
He drank and got aids, from sleeping with sl***.

My grandparent's house is where I live now.
I got screwed over, and dont understand how.
Why do the decisions that my parents make,
put my way of life and future at stake.

So, if you're growing up, in a dysfunctional family,
remember that is not the way that it will always be.
Just do your best, to live your life right,
and then you'll succeed, with no trouble in sight.
