Thinking

by master of shadow   Apr 11, 2006

Thinking of all that's happened
All that lead up to today
Wonder if it could have been different,
If it had to be this way.
Knowing that I caused it all
I could have changed it
Things could have been better
Not have all turned to such s***.

So much strife I have created
So much trouble due to me
If I had just being better
We'd still be a family,
Not a fragmented mess
Scattered over the land.
Time is now running out
Can watch the tumbling sand
Running though the timer
Counting to the end
When it will all be too late
Be nothing left to mend,
When our reality will be too fragmented
The rift far too wide,
We will break apart forever
Washed away with the tide.

It has began already
The rift is beginning to grow
People starting to avoid each other
Even if they don't want it to show.
Slowly the ties between them will snap
Hatred will engulf them all
And slowly the idea of family
And the idea of friendship shall start to fall.
Something need to fill the gorge
Before the time runs out
