Rock, Paper, Scissors, S h i t (From Boy to Girl)

by Ixora   Apr 13, 2006

You’re looking at me with puppet eyes
Emotion-full and red from crying
It’s a rare chance I get to see you live
You’ve spent most of your life dying

You haven’t said a word since this started
But it doesn’t really bother me
I don’t need words to understand
What my eyes can clearly see

And what else can I do but hold you
Whispering “I Love You’s” and meaningless words
Letting your heart slowly find mine
High in the clouds of manipulative birds

This is true love, so filled with pain
That it knocks you down and makes you hurl
A beautiful union between the rock and the paper
Scarred by the scissors between a boy and a girl

I don't know why this was in the 2's. I loved it. I can't describe what it made me feel like...it's on the tip of my tongue...
