Web Of Lies

by Just Me   Apr 16, 2006

She walks
and talks
she can sing and dance
but she isnt living
she doesnt fit in
shes the outcast
the one left behind
she seems normal
with smiles
and jokes
but shes
not
she lives in a web of lies
she doesnt know what to believe
and each day
it only gets thicker and
harder to get out
shes caught in the webs
sticky mess
she didnt want to be in this
it just sort of happened
and she doesnt know
what to believe
and everything she sees
is just too deciveing
you see the simple girl
the ugly hair
the dorky glasses
but who she is
is niether one
she is the web of lies
that surrounds her
she is her own best friend
she is her mother
she is her father
she is everything shes ever needed
because
she lives in a web of lies
and no one can get through
so she uses a razor to cut them away
but these tangled vines are just to thick
and her web of lies
becomes her prison
