I miss you Ashtyan

by Broken Suicide   Apr 16, 2006

I was tidying my stuff today,
Like I used to all the time,
Just tidying and moving stuff around,
Making everything look fine,

I was looking up in the wardrobe,
Where I found an old dusty box,
I found all the things we used to collect,
A box of photo's and rocks,

I picked up that rock,
The heart shaped one,
That you gave me the day you died,
When you said the past was done,

I remember it like yesterday,
I can still hear your "shexy" voice,
All those things that happened,
I know it wasn't our choice,

The twelve of us together,
In a world of own,
Just messing around as we always did,
Now I'm all alone,

You and Jim went off for food,
We'll be back in ten you said,
I'd never have guessed an hour later,
In the road you'd be lead,

I rang your phone,
Asking when you'd be here,
But nobody answered,
I guessed you were near,

I look at the photo Ash,
Me and you so close,
You know how much you meant to me,
I miss you the most,

Ash I saw your body,
Lying surrounded by blood,
All your limbs so mangled,
Me sat crying in the mud,

Ash you were an amazing friend,
And my love for you goes on,
The road of my life is slowly coming to and end,
It was never very long...

*I miss you Ashtyan*
