Hurt on Easter

My soul torn in two,
The feeling of rejection burns in my heart,
This heartbreak crept up to me without a clue,
This loneliness I feel is off the charts.

But I'm lost between two worlds no doubt,
Not in the present nor the past,
Here, as I write, I pout,
Memories are flashing through my mind so fast.

Tears of sorrow are flowing down my face,
I can't help it because it's true,
It's just I'm not wanted and that's the case,
Present friends abandon and past friends go too.

Will I ever forget this day?
My memories are making me cry,
Only with true friends I will play,
Or else I'd rather just die.
