In the cold light of morning

by master of shadow   Apr 17, 2006

The sun creeps over the horizon
Banishing the nights woes
Chasing off the demons,
All of life's great foes.
Bathing the world in a golden light
Placing hope in every soul,
Banishing the emptiness
Allowing all to feel whole.
The cold mornings glow
Makes the world seem new,
The ground sparkles
With the dawn dew,
Bird song fills the skies
And life fills the air
A new day has begun
With possibilities beyond compare.

Nice poem. The only thing I can think of, by way of a critique on this poem, is the misplaced letter in "makes the world seems new."
I liked the change from pre-dawn sun-rise to day. Nice concept in it's entirety.
