I know you're scared.
I'm scared too,
but I need you to believe in us.
Believe in us the way I do.

I know you're not afraid of what others think.
That's good because neither am I.
So can you tell me what the problem is?
Why must you insist on making me cry?

I wish you'd quit playing mind games.
I just want to be with you.
By the deafening silence that hangs between us,
I can tell you want to be with me too.

Tell me you feel nothing for me and I'll stop,
but we both know that it would be a lie.
The way you look at me says all I need to know.
We're kindred spirits, you and I.

Look deep into my eyes.
See the love that grows for you everyday.
Believe in us and what we share,
a love too strong to melt away.

    Brilliant, just brilliant!!! Love the ending. Actually every single line of this poem was so good and so heartfelt. Love the theme of it. As always, you've created another masterpiece. Keep going.
