Abandon

by Lilly   Apr 21, 2006

Well, looks like it's too late now,
He should just rise up and take a bow,
He slipped through her resent and fear,
Acquired a heart no one else had been near.
To him, she'd offered her everything,
Believed he'd taken her under his wing,
Now he's up and flown away,
Left her in bitter cold on this imperfect day.
Discarding her secrets in danger's approach,
Surely he knew those bastards would poach,
Her longings, wonders, needs, and desire,
Once he left, for he'd been her sire.
With the protection he snatched away,
He doomed her existence to damage and prey.
So good job jerk, just bow again,
You've caused this angel torrents of pain,
All because she trusted you,
My, what a credulous thing to do...
