In the land of make believe
the sun would always shine
The birds would always sing
and i would call you mine

In the land of make believe
People wouldn't die
they could live forever
no one would ever cry

People would be happy
dreams would come true
Everyone would find love
and i would have you.

In the land of make believe
your race wouldn't matter
looks aren't important
hearts would never shatter

depression wouldn't exist
family's would care
friends would come easy
and you would be there

Everything would be perfect
no one would ever grieve
but we don't live in
the land of make believe
