Captured Angel

I once soared without a care
Before I met your dark snare
Trapped within your loving mind
I am caught a cage confined
My wings were cut falling down
Into your cage was I bound
Bruised and bloodied is my heart
Broken when you fell apart
Torn shard a gift this day
Feathery wings fades away
Caught behind the golden bars
An angel ruined showing scars
Forever captured addicted to you
You beat this angel black and blue
Within a cage this angel's caught
No more flying my freedom bought
