No Goodbyes

Gone is my dad,
He left us in May.
So long ago,
Though it seems like yesterday.
Gone all the yelling,
And screams late at night.
Why did they hate each other?
Why did they fight?
One night though,
After just one shout.
There was only the noise of my mum yelling,
" GET OUT!"
Gone were the threats, hurtful words and lies,
My dad gone without saying
GOODBYE
