Letting go

by sharon   Apr 24, 2006

We opened our minds and revealed our hearts
A great friendship I think a very good start

I could feel the pain of his unexpected shock
The hurt, the rawness of the famous love knock

It is scary and unstable when security lost.
Our feelings and thoughts our loyalty crossed

When we see our future safe and sound
When all of a sudden darkness around

The art to recovery is to find yourself
It is not being miserable or sitting on the shelf

You have many qualities that you can give
But start with yourself, it is your life you live

So invite lifes challenge and enjoy the thrive
Life can be lost without the ingredient strive

Real change, is when the same old thing looks different, do you understand
You will then move on with all that you planned

Use your past as a library and not a home
You will be happy, content and free to roam

It was, once quoted; the best place for a party is between the ears
So look forward to you once again whole and separated from fears

You must carry what you will not let go
Look at lifes experience as a simple lesson to grow
