She walks.

by Xx-BleedingSoul-xX   Apr 25, 2006

She walks along this lonely street,
With no-one the dry her tears,
Or massage her tired feet,
Or calm her present fears.

Seeing life through her tainted heart,
Making everything gray,
Alone, her life, a new start,
Always searching for a day,
Throughout everything...

But life goes on no matter what,
The facts she cannot tell,
Memories never to be forgot,
Within her heart they dwell.

So she keeps walking this lonely street,
Keeps searching to find her way,
Every night she lies down to sleep,
And prays tomorrows a better day...

This poem is very good and very well written. The only thing that I did not like about it was this part:

Seeing life through her tainted heart,
    Making everything gray,
Alone, her life, a new start,
    Always searching for a day,
    Throughout everything...

every other stanza only have 4 sentences and this have 5..I just thought that it kinda through off the flow of the poem a little bit. But other than that, it is really really good. Keep it up.
