The Stories Already Made

by Purple   Apr 25, 2006

I'll forget the memories I hate
Simply for forgetings sake
Put a story I heard in its place
Leaving cracks as the only trace
Back to the original, true and first
With its thought my emotions burst
Tears will shine on my cheek
With the light that we all seek
True emotion yet untarnished
The memory's meaning finally harnessed

Forget the words you just read
Push them out of your over flowing head
There's no reason to listen to me
At least none obvious that I can see

What stories do I have to tell
My life un-lived in one big shell
Content with complaining, not a move made
A constant you could say, yet my future is saved
Fearful of any effect
Many aspects have fallen to neglect

Just forget this as I probably will
Like the price of one item on your bill
Let this fade in your ten second memory
Let it disappear in your sub conscious tenderly.

Or think about what you have just seen
And what it could really mean
