Easy way out

by sarah   Apr 26, 2006

The walls are closing in,
even as I speak,
cutting off my air supply,
so I can hardly breathe.
The walls are closing in around my heart,
at this very moment,
making it hurt and ache,
and making me go numb.
The pain is so overwhelming,
and ache from inside out,
blinding me in every way.
So all I see is hurt.
I'm whirling out of control now,
the pain is taking charge,
I'm letting the pain lead me,
now I'm letting it win.
My world crashes in around me,
I watch all happiness die,
I'm drifting into a sleep now,
and I leave this miserable place.
Life was oh so bitter,
all sweetness had been drained,
leaving only a sour after taste,
and packing a powerful punch!
I couldn't take the pain any more,
didn't like the bitter taste,
so I stopped my pain,
with a single slit of my wrist
