Life is like a river

My life, it's like a river
always changing the way it runs
a curve here, it's swifter there
sometimes, it just likes to have fun

but other times it gets really rough
and times there are paths to choose
but those are the times when it gets really tough
to live the life i don't want to lose

when the river gets this way
it's helped out by some friends
they care for you and give you strength
and they'll help you past every bend
