Trying My Best

"Why don't you go crawl in a corner and die?"
Thats what I hear every week
And yet I still try and try
But it's not enough

I try to get through each day
And I try to be strong
But its hard when no one will stay
And tell me everything's ok

I say to myself "They won't bring me down."
But just the yelling
And the sound
Are sometimes too much to handle

If I make one mistake
You point it out and make it a big deal
All the love turns to hate
For about a day

Can't you see I'm slowly fading away?
Can't you see I need someone with me?
Can't you see I just want one person to stay?
Can't you see I cannot deal with this on my own?

The only person that actually says they love me
Is over 1700 miles away
I can't wait until I see her
When she can rescue me from this

I guess for now I'll go one living this messed up life
Going on with all this crap
With all the strife
But one day I WILL be happy
