A Broken Soul

by **MIMI**   May 2, 2006

Like a cloud over head, casting a spell,
Like a dream turned to nothing,
Heaven turned to hell.

A winter without snow, a summer without sun,
A world with no love,
No happiness or no fun.

A prisoner to the world, a soul forever broken,
A neverending dream,
You wish you could be woken.

A love turned to hate, a smile turned frown,
The person you trust the most,
Always letting you down.

A blackened heart, that is dead to the soul,
No one could ever break you,
Because you were never whole.

Running from a demon, you cannot face down,
You've given away your power,
Causing misery all around.

Your still a little boy, hurting deep inside,
But it is too late to save you,
From the drug you've hidden behind.

You've given up on hope, your never going to care,
What the future holds for you,
Because you know you wont be there.

* Dedicated to all the lost souls, who have drug problems.
