Song Unheard

Jealousy, deception
Anger, love, and lies
All this hurt and hatred
Burning in her eyes

Jealous of the perfect girl
The one who stole his heart
A dazzling smile, a glimpse of skin
Enough to tear her world apart

Deceive all the fools around her
Laugh along and play the clown
Paint on the china smile again
So they can't watch her as she drowns

Angry at her own depression
Weak for letting herself cry
Disorders rule her twisted life
But she still carries on the lie

Loving the impossible
The one who doesn't care
Always wishing there was someway
She could make him stop and stare

Lying to the world around her
Pretending she is oh so strong
But she's weighed down by her emotion
How long do you think she can go on

Hurting from her own sweet sickness
All the self inflicted pain
Torn wrists and bloody razorblades
The voices turning her insane

Hatred for the filthy liar
The one who mocks her plight
Faking all the awful things
That make her sit and cry at night

Bursting with emotion
But she never speaks a word
Thoughts bleed from her wrist
A twisted Song Unheard

    This was such a beautiful poem, I don't see how it is rated only a 4. I can really relate to this one (which sucks considering what the poem is about lol) but I loved it. Itw as well written and had a good flow. I love how you really capture your feelings in your writing...it helps us to feel what you are feeling. I hope you get some more poetry up soon because you are one of my favorites...I can't wait to read mre of your work...hopefully soon. (^_^)
