Heart Of Ice

by Tasha   May 3, 2006

I reach up to you as you stand.
I'm at your feet begging you to love me again.
But you just stand there, as if frozen.
I'm crying at your shoes, as I taste tears with dirt.
I reach up to your hands, asking for your help.
But I soon slide and hit the ground.
You feel as cold as the ice made of your eyes.
I stumble and wrap my arms around your neck.
Still you stand as if you do not notice me.
I kiss your lips, but do not feel warmth.
As streams of tears flow from my eyes.
I press my head against your chest.
And I soon realize that your heart too has been
taken over by ice. -

I know this feeling all too well...It's so horrible to feel lost in that kind of way. Stay strong...he...It's funny how you can dish out advice to other peple yet it's so hard to follow your own words of wisdom. Seriously though, don't give up!
