Lost

I'm lost,
I can't find my way home,
When will this all end?
My strength is starting to bend,

All I need is someone to show me the way,
One who will never betray,
Everything I see is dim,
Cast this grim shadow of mine away,
When will the sun shine on me?

I walk through this dark forest,
Alone and lonely,
My only companions are my demons,
I hear their screams,
I need the sound of an angel,
Let my angel sing
