Forever Be There

by Meggie33   May 4, 2006

A racing heart, and a shaking hand, all show my worries, joy, and pain,
All the hurt and long nights, show not what I have gained.

My veins have a steady beat from the blood flowing through,
All my nightmares filled with dreams, after a night spent with you.

Eyes are weakened to the point of not being opened for quite some time,
All I can see in the darkness in my head, is you one day being mine.

One single dial tone, brought to it's end by seven harmless numbers,
My palms are sweaty in preperation for our slumbers.

One picture consisting of me and you, will remain my favorite for months to come, until it fades too much,
One single hug or kiss on the cheek, and I will never again be fond of another touch.

Friendships never last for life, unless there were to be an unbelievable bond,
But forever and always our love will last even if at times of each others ways and beliefs we tend to be unfond.

One single leaf falls from the highest branch on the tallest tree,
Again and again, I have been reminded that love is never ever going to be free.

A broken heart, can last, but all wounds do heal with time and care,
Forever and more, you know that for you me and my love with always be there.
