I don't understand

I woke up today
and you were gone.
It was like a fairytale
Inside a love song.

Now that I'm awake
and you arent near,
I'll never forget you
Because I hold your memory here

I don't understand
Why can't she be here?
And I don't understand
Why can't I hold her near?

I thought she was meant for me
But it wasn't meant to be.
Can't you see now?
No matter how hard i always try,
It's always gonna
Make me die inside

I don't understand,
Why can't she be here?
And i don't understand,
Why can't I hold her near?

And the dead shall never
Leave this world alive.
It's time to kick my heart
From neutral to drive.

I don't understand,

I hope you like it, its about my ex-girlfriend who i loved dearly. I wrote it when i found out she had killed herself. Pardon any mispellings, and/or punctuation mistakes.

    Omgg.. i am soo srry for your loss.. hope you are finding love from all your family and friends and i hope you know that i am here for you if you ever need some1 to talk to.. this was an excellent poem because it was based on so much emotion.. definetely 5/5!
