As the Sun Rises and Sets

by MemoirsOfMe   May 8, 2006

As the sun rises
One wishes to be whole
Not to be two pieces
And search for the missing parts of the puzzle.

She doesn't want to search forever
In the darkness of the past
To seek those memories she lost
Or to wonder why childhood went by so fast.

She wants to know how to love again
To say things she really means
Not to lie from face to face
And not to regret every little thing.

She wants to be solely free
To run for miles and not look back
How to be comfortable and see
Life isn't just a neverending track.

As the sun sets
One wishes to be whole
Not to be two pieces
And search for the missing parts of the puzzle.

You made the poem your own, your words, your descriptions, and not just some mock of everyday teen drama. Keep standing out with your writing.

That was cool if a little...unsmooth with the flow sometimes. Still it was cool and strangely different than some I've seen.
