Raindrop

by Twisted Heart   May 8, 2006

A raindrop on a window pane
so small and so obscure
All alone and innocent
harshness, it can't endure

But when joined there by others
it will gain in strength
and mist the land with dignity
while giving Earth a drink

It begins to form a lake
a river or an ocean
and cleanses all it touches
with such heartfelt devotion

So when you see a raindrop
don't wipe that one away
because it just might be the one
that cleanses you today

    drop drop......make a pond.
    drop drop..... quench our thirst
