Yesterday,
She holds a rose to her heart
Says a prayer and walks away
Holding this rose deep to her soul
She tries to forget your ways ..
The rose holds your love
Her heart holds you inside

Today,
She walks with a stagger
She weeps as she stares
Through the bare naked trees

Dancing between the branches

She staggers away
With a broken stemmed rose
