Around The Sun

That was then, but it`s gone now!
The year two thousand is with us!
We are older and wiser!
Or so i hear from the ancients!
Or was it all just words to speak?
To pacify? ... or to comfort me?

Theres a clock in the hallway!
Keeping count on the days that pass!
Next to that is the mirror!
Staring back! with an empty glance!
Up comes the sun!
casting light across the universe!

Staring up at the Cosmos!
find your soul after nightfall!
For we are one! and are all the same!
Side by side, in the Poppy fields!
From the top stair a lifetime!
falling down in life's spiral!

Close your eyes for a moment!
see ten doors, and you open one!
Talk to me, tell me what you see?
Concentrate, this will set you free!
Look beyond this dimension!
See forever! ............ "Infinity!"
