Cloud Watching

by VoiceOfTheSoul   May 9, 2006

You see the sunset shine,
as you lye atop the field,
watching as the clouds turn red,
and how the wind shifts them around.

They dance and twirl,
as the long grass around you covers your shivering body,
may the light of the stars guide the fireflies to you.

The wondersome sight of the clouds,
as they form the shape of your dream,
and the drowsiness begins to unfold,
when the clouds begin to rest for the night.

You sleep,
awaken atop the glimmering clouds,
where the moon cradles your soul,
and the clouds comfort your skin.

It must be a dream,
a dream of fantasy and wisdom,
as they clouds gently lye you on the ground,
Cloud Watching, a beautiful feeling.
