Back to darkness

by darkness decends   May 12, 2006

Light for a day, full of life.
Then stabbed away by a knife.
Darkness again rules the eve.
The darkness so far will not leave.

But prepared I be for this night.
Prepared with things that bring some light.
These demons and creatures come swarming back.
Seeping and crawling through each little crack.

With demons surrounding, drawing near as I sit.
Most would break and wish it to quit.
Not I though, I welcome these things.
Welcome there frights and there stings.

For the light shall be back and be back soon.
Back to this night lit by the moon.
Morn shall come in a short time.
So with that, I end this rhyme.
