Perfect fake smile

by мσяιтυяαм   May 15, 2006

Deceiving the world
With a perfect fake smile
She hopes it will cover up
Her pain just for a while

She sits in the corner
So quiet and well behaved
No one will ever know
Of the death that she craved

They say she's a perfect little angel
With a heart of gold
But she's not stupid enough
To believe what she's told

For beneath the surface
Of her scarred white skin
She is a broken girl
Hidden deep within

A girl who secretly
Causes herself harm
Slicing night after night
Upon her pale arm

But nobody notices
They are mislead by her lies
They will never know
Until she finally dies.

I know how this feels, this brought me back... and I'm so sorry you have to feel that way.... but, why are you looking in from the outside? Look from the inside out. Meaning don't try to see what others see, just see what you want to see. All those people are not going to be there in the real world. Focus on your future goals and don't let them get in your way... Look forward and never look back.
