Roses

by smile   May 15, 2006

You whisper those forgotten words,
As we watch the roses grow,
The deep ruby buds awake gracefully
Slowly rising to this silent world.
Crisp petals, peal back-perfection revealed,
I walk over and pluck the finest flower,
As i gently pull this delicate creature,
a single thorn is embeded,
The innocent rose is released and rests on the earth, beneath.
You remove the thorn and as done a deep ruby droplet falls,
as i bleed.

well this is just a metaphore, love is the rose, beautiful at a distance, but it will hurt you. yeah the one you love can comfort you, but haha its them that draws the blood. love sucks!

also, why does no one comment on this poem? whats wrong with it...? it was the first one i put on this site, and know one has ever written a comment on it. well i personally like it, so there!!!
