Is it just me, or is the world spinning too fast?
Friendships come and go, relationships never last.
People are cold, they stab you in the back,
They say "your so crazy, you MUST be on crack."

Welcome to my life, the express's next stop is Hell,
They're both the same, the differences you can't tell.
Keep you hands inside as I show you,
All that is wrong, before this is through.

I go to school, get kicked when I fall,
People yell and glare, as if they I appall.
I go to my class, where the teachers scold,
About me not being good enough, but so much is untold.

When I wake every morning, I need to take some pill,
My depression's gotten so bad, my schoolwork's gone downhill.
I put on the makeup, and fix up my hair,
Ready to start another day, acting like I don't care.

Welcome to my life, no sunshine, only rain,
The sun vanished with my smiles, as I gained so much pain.
Bring an umbrella, if you wish not to get wet,
Because this is just the beginning, there is more yet.

My friends and family are changing, turning their backs to me,
They say I'm a sight for sore eyes, and to just make myself happy.
So I plaster on another fake smile, as I grit my teeth when I want to cry,
Pretending I couldn't care less, when I really just want to die.

The rain has taken its toll now, as it's harder to fake that smile,
Hiding my tears from the world, as they fall, catching them in a vile.
My skin so pale and lifeless, and my eyes so sunken in,
As I begin to starve myself in hopes of being thin.

Welcome to my life, this is enough for now,
This is all the sightseeing that I will allow.
