Finding Your Heart Through A Scar [Cut Wrist Thoery]

by Ian Robert   May 18, 2006

When you feel like cutting away the emotion,
Ridding the pain with something more soothing,
Physical verse the mental, what force will win,
Youre mind is in a bind fighting the scars that sing,
A melody full of false harmony and lies,
The last one is never enough, no matter how many tries,
Calm down and look back on your life,
Where you innocent, or did you do what was needed to survive?

I ask these questions in hope you might realize,
The answers you seek and the freedom you need,
Is not buried under your sleeve.

When you feel like cutting away the emotion,
Those days when you need some personal closure,
You cant think straight and you dont have the composure,
Im the voice that haunts you with the simple truth,
Two valiums and your still having a panic attack,
Its an addiction and its the only thing that can get you back on track,
So the blades coated again, as it opens another wound,
Its going to be an open casket before your six feet under ground.

[Okay lets be open, do you really want to die, cut yourself open, from wrist to soul]
