Weird love

Our love has been weird, many curveballs thrown our way,
But this one is most difficult, I do have to say.

We have had fights, we have got a long,
We have sat alone in a corner, and danced to many a song.

A strange relationship we do have, and I can't say that it's not,
But it can't get any more akward is what I always thought.

We have hung out many late nights, and early mornings before,
But i always wanted us to be normal, just that, no more.

You have been mean, and you have been nice, I have done the same,
Many weird twists have been added to this crazy game.

But now it is worse, than it has ever been in the past,
Now it's so weird, I know that this'll last.

You have been the source of my smiles, and the source of my cries,
You have been the warmth in my heart, and the fire in my eyes.

Lovers we have been, and enemies we've been too,
But now despite our love and hate, I'm bound for life with you.

No we're not married, there are no vows we have spoke,
But if only I had known we were related when those meaningful words i spoke.

You are my cousin, with two marriages in between,
I can't do anything right with you, the right choice can't be seen.

    Aww wow that was a weird love, and quite sad that you're cousins. It really touched me and the lines "You have been the source of my smiles, and the source of my cries,
    You have been the warmth in my heart, and the fire in my eyes" were truly beautiful and sent shivers down my back, honestly!
    I think it was an original write, which is hard to do in love.
    It was a weird poem, but I liked it!!

    Oh and another thing....calm down hunny, take a deep breath.....and shhhh. I've just read all the comments you left on my writes. I am totally flattered, happy, shocked and amazed by what you said. I'm sort of confused too, and am convinced you were reading someone elses work instead, not mine.
    Either way, I'm so glad you liked them, I'll always appreciate a compliment, and it has encouraged me to keep writing.
