Crimson lips

by LadyPearl   May 21, 2006

Like a late blooming bud
Like a fire washed by rain
Like shattered hearts of girls
I arise from crimson lips
Born an eccentric way
Cleansed from all sins
Guarded my heart from pain
Kept my crimson lips

A skin like the snow of winter
While coldness entered veins
Penetrating eyes that watch
Every step that you make
Partly stunned by venomous kiss
Like a slow death of a king
Drained from what belonged to me
This parting crimson lips

Like a painting abandoned to years
I live within my very soul
Like an omen cast upon rituals
I'm darker than normal plans
I'm not doll to be abused and used
I'm not an idol of religious acts
I am a spiteful spirit reborn
With the curse of crimson lips

To those who that revered me
Look upon this horrid face
Do you see any remedy left
Any cure for destined role?
Your plans are in ruin
I guide my own nature
I am of defamation
Formed by crimson lips

*my second non-rhyme, hope you enjoy

Wow, wonderful poem! I love the way it just flows off your tongue and the imagery is fantastic! Love the start:
    "Like a late blooming bud
Like a fire washed by rain
    Like shattered hearts of girls
    I arise from crimson lips"

    Just beautiful...!!!
