30 Seconds Silence

by DancingForGod   May 21, 2006

I call him
We talk
We laugh
We sit
Silence descends
Forever appears in 30 seconds time
We sit silently
Not waiting for anything
Just sitting
No sounds
Other than breathing
Comfortable
Not uneasy
Just knowing he's there
Listening for my breathing
As I listen for his
Imagining his arms
Clasped tightly around me
In silence we sit
Racking up phone minutes
Without a care in the world
But the love of the person on the other end
