A Small Thought

If I died alone today,
Would it make a difference what I say?

If I fell asleep, never to awake,
Did I pray the Lord my soul to take?

If I left and was never seen again,
Would you look back and call me a friend?

If I lived my life, just for me,

Just to see how selfish I could be,

Would my friends turn their backs in the end
And never acknowledge I was their friend?

Would I be missed by the people that mean the most,
Or simply fade away... just like a ghost?

I may have a small thought, but Wiht you, these thoughts are anything but true.
